I don’t get it do you do the rendering and base coloring on a separate layer and merge it later with the sketch or do you do everything on the one layer, like a real painting

Emilyena drawing very well and I creating the oc with a toothpick in paint because it's the only thing I know how to do 😭 but I admire you so much you are my inspiration for drawing Emilyena^^

Incredible. The inspiration pieces were already amazing, and you matched them well! With plenty of twist making it your own. DTIYS is brand new to me, and I love it.
Your style alone too, is excellent. Everything ends up feeling very natural and casually laid down, even though you’re crisping things up nicely. I love the amount of variation in the marks, like wet-on-wet paint or powdery pastels. Beautiful light and palettes too.

Does anybody know of any tutorials that can kinda walk you through the process of painting like this? I haven’t been able to find any that have really made it easy to understand but I really like the way the colours look and how smooth it is. If they’re specific to procreate then that’s even better but they don’t really have to be
