Learn all of the materials involved in sketching and drawing and also some basic shading techniques and sketching concepts.
In this video, I start off going through all of the materials you’re going to need for learning to sketch and draw. Once you have a better understanding of those, you can start drawing simple shapes and lines and practicing sketching with an HB, B, or 2B pencil. These are good pencils for sketching lightly but also allow you to go a little darker when needed for shading. I plan to cover perspective, values, edges, shading techniques, proportions, landscapes and many other topics of sketching and drawing for beginners and intermediate artists.

"It doesn't have to be perfect", this is the best advise I have ever heard, thank you.
im 12 and trying to make my biggest goal come true since i was 9 and ur making the dream one step closer. Thanks
thanks for your video💌
A question please what if i could make circles like in first hand first time or in one go.
The beauty is in the imperfections
Will I be able to get good in 6 months???
Im restarting my sketching journey once again. Thank you for the introduction
that was really helpful❤ really thanks
Gonna start this journey when my cheap art supplies arrive in the mail cant wait they should get here between 14-20 this month incase this last for year this year is 2023
I'm drawing digital, but the idea of "don't commit" to the lines changed everything. I can make the shape of a head without agonizing over the shape not being absolutely perfect. Hair and the neck also take shape because I know it'll get smoothed out on the next layer.
Thank you for this, truly. I actually feel like I'm taking a step forward.
U alive?
I can't draw 😢
Will we see more of this
Great beginner tutorial!
"Just sketch"
Nice tutorial. Man it helped a lot
wow, this was very helpful. It is also a refresher. I have always had the artist talent. It came to me easy, it was like my super power. However, sketching with all the little lines looks nice, but, I am too perfectionist and I would commit and just draw. I think over the years as I slowly stepped away from art, I have started losing my talent and I am craving art again and it's like it keeps showing up in different forms, whether it is in a tv show or I see it somewhere while out. I need to polish up on this God-given gift. I will keep watching your videos, thanks.
Thank you very much
I have a hard time choosing what to draw. At least for practice
Wow, you actually taught Me what is sketching thank you sir
Good tutorial keep up the good work

What kind of pencil we should use to start sketching?

What about 9 years later are you still alive
I didn’t even realize that this series is that old

I DECIDED TO LEARN HOW TO DRAW, IS THIS A GOOD PLACE TO START ?
I loved sketching when I was a kid and now that I'm an adult I'm still at a beginner stage. lol. So yeah, here I am getting ready to upgrade my drawing skills. 🥳
What does the hardness and softness of a pencil mean?

Thanks, I loved it. Cheers.
I started today, 5/20/23 because of your video.
Thank you. ❤
Do I absolutely need all these materials? Obviously I need pencil, paper, and such, but for example the blending stumps, do I absolutely need those or can I sketch without them?
I just recently got a whole bunch of art supplies and I have actually no idea how to properly use them so I was pretty excited when I found these videos
Hope I find my way to regain my strength in sketching after so many years ❤
Will watch this whole series
Just graduated high school now got a month of free time . Being able to sketch anything was what I always wanted but i am not just bad at it but also worst . Hope i don't quit and someday just be able to draw some decent sketches atleast. Don't wanna be better than others or something but just for self satisfaction
although these videos are relatively old, they have helped me a lot with learning how to draw and just do art in general. power to you for making these videos!
